I was born in Russia, in a republic called Moldova, and my name is Nikolai Melnikov.  In 1947, I am born, in December.  Then I finished high school.  After high school I finished what is a special college about art metal.  When I finished art sculpture, I was a teacher in same college.  Then I worked at Scientist Sculpture Institute in Moldova.  In 1992 I immigrated to United States.

So far I have a really long story and sometimes art, for me, was very good, like Michelangelo time, like Egyptian time, or modern art in the beginning of the twentieth century, folk art in America and my art.  My art, my idea, is like challenge of evil.  And I want to tell everybody by my art, Touch me, please.  I am your friend
