Tomasz Awdziejczyk - Poland

Hello. My name is Tomasz Awdziejczyk. I’m from Poland. In art I do painting, graphic arts, artistic photography, and sometimes sculpture—also some artistic pottery made of porcelain. This, of course, requires a special manufacturing process, which is not available at the camp where we are now, so that is why I only practice it at the camps in the big pottery factories.

What I do now in Romania—Romania in my feeling is a part of the Byzantine source of culture. That is why I’m inspired by the classical icons of Byzantine Christianity. I like to paint motifs connected to holy figures, saints, and all the Eastern spirituality.
